ScreenSteps Browser Extension
Access your ScreenSteps digital guides from any website page or application.
Search and deliver answers in the window you are working in.
Get answers in as little as two clicks without leaving your window.
Deliver relevant guides before employees type in the search bar.
The browser extension uses context-sensitive help to identify the website in which you are working. The browser extension shows you relevant articles for the current web page, tab, record types, and more defined context before you even need to type anything in the search bar.
No need to toggle back and forth between website tabs to search for answers. Open the browser extension, type a question into the search bar, see results, and follow a guide all within the browser extension.
For frequently used articles and procedures, employees can bookmark the digital guide. This allows users to personalize their stored articles so they can access the answers they need even faster.
Deliver messages faster to employees. When administrators send important Announcements and Notifications, end-users can view those messages and acknowledge them within the browser extension.
The browser extension is compatible with any web-based application or website once you download the plugin. That means wherever you work on the internet, you can have answers within the same window.
“The contextual help shows up as a little bell on the right-hand side of an employee's browser window. Employees love it.”

Basic contextual help is very easy to set up. But in most cases, our customers like to get a bit more advanced.
Creating your first few complex contexts can be a bit tricky. Our support team is always willing to help you define your contexts so that the right content is showing up in the right place. Once you see a few examples based on your particular needs the contexts become much easier to create.
We have extensive documentation to help you learn how to create these contexts as well.
